    An Activities Attendant responsibility is to provide an exceptional level of customer service while monitoring playground activities and to assist in rental areas of the operation at the resort level including fitting and selecting rental equipment, set-up and break-down, and selling products to customers.

    Essential Responsibilities: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

    • Ensure guests are aware of all services available at main playground and golf cart rental area.
    • Assist with the basic maintenance, set-up/break-down, selling and escort of golf carts
    • Follow daily procedure for opening and closing of activities area including locking appropriate doors and gates, and cleaning up
    • Keep inventory of equipment and inventory sold. Responsible for sign out procedures of games and equipment. Keep inventory, submit order requests, and inform to supervisor when supplies are low.
    • Follow proper cash handling procedures including, site/golf cart charges, obtaining and distributing a receipt and rental contract with guest's signature, properly close out for the day and document paperwork.
    • Follow and comply with all company policies and procedures
    • Oversee the general cleanliness and upkeep of the entire area and the rental equipment provided.
    • Maintain positive guest relations at all times
    • Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction
    • Monitor all guest activity in assigned work area; be alert to any sign of trouble. Ensure safety of guests and enforcement of rules/precautions according to department standards.
    • Ensures the property is clean, orderly, well-manicured and guest ready at all times.

    Performs other duties as assigned

    Job Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or GED equivalent

    Physical Demands

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping and crouching all day. The employee must be able to lift or move items up to 20 pounds independently. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
