    Automotive Technician

    Mullinax Ford is looking for a dependable, hard-working, self-motivated team member with an enthusiastic presence to join our multi-store enterprise. The prime candidate will be goal-oriented with a positive dynamic attitude and a strong willingness to learn. 6 months to 1-year automotive experience required.

    Schedule: Monday - Saturday hours vary - No Sundays Exact schedule discussed during interview.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Perform work specified on repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policy
    • Perform thorough and accurate multi-point inspections
    • Complete test drives of vehicles as necessary
    • Provide superior customer satisfaction
    • Maintain legible and accurate paperwork for both the customer and our records
    • Clean and maintain work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety
    • Computerized transactions and record keeping
    • Follow all Company procedures and standards
    • Perform all duties as assigned

    Qualifications for this job:

    • Must be at least 18 years old
    • Basic vehicle knowledge
    • Basic tool set
    • 6 months to 1-year automotive experience
    • Basic computer, email, and internet proficiency
    • Strong time management skills
    • Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
    • Lifting of heavy items of up to 75 pounds
    • Able to withstand exposure to adverse weather conditions, chemicals, odors, dirt and dust
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Valid Driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle driving record according to dealership guidelines
    • Must be able to pass background screening and drug test
