    DESCRIPTION Our Data Analytics Support Professional will be responsible for receiving, organizing, analyzing, and maintaining data from clients that is used for legal analysis and various business filing requirements.

    This role will require regular and on-going tracking, filing, and updating of data and use and input of such data for multiple analytical inquiries to support legal analysis and business controversies.

    This individual will also be responsible for driving tax technology initiatives for the Specialty Tax & Incentives Group by exploring new and leveraging existing technology solutions to improve the quality and efficiency of tax analyses.

    This includes identifying, designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining tax technology and analytical tools such as Alteryx, Vizio and other solutions as needed.

    These activities will be performed under the supervision of counsel.

    This individual should be skilled at organizing, assessing, and compiling data to support the legal analysis and legal reporting requirements that will be presented to clients.

    This role is a support role to the entire Specialty Tax & Incentives team and will also require other project management skills including project organization, data organization, business reporting compliance and compliance checklists, client interface and communications and regular interaction with team members and clients.

    Assess and format client data for incorporation into analytical and calculation models, investigation and/or development of data collection/analytical software tools and templates, and coordination with clients to determine the most efficient way to obtain, transfer and process large client data files.

    Assist with multiple projects simultaneously, including client consultations, analysis, data gathering and coordination of Specialty Tax & Incentives personnel and client resources.

    Review and format data (completeness of information, proper execution).
    Review, enter, and extract data from various sources of data received from client.

    Verify data, review prior year data and reports to assist in creating efficiencies for subsequent year data collection and review processes.

    Receive, organize, and distribute diverse types of documents, including legal documents between client and client service team and in some instances, governmental agencies or external service providers.

    Assist team in obtaining/collecting all documents/information.
    Extract data for management and program reports.
    Perform data entry and analytics and creation of summary reports or toolkits necessary for representative legal matter.

    Undergraduate degree with a preferred focus or major in data analysis, computer science, statistics, or information systems.
    Ability to review and analyze data and information from multiple sources.

    Highly organized, dependable, and responsible and experienced in planning and managing conflicting priorities within tight deadlines with minimal supervision.

    Expertise in using/creating/manipulating data with Microsoft Excel, Vizio and Alteryx (or similar program) experience.
    Experience with word processing software and PowerPoint.
    Skill with data analysis and analytical aptitude with an elevated level of accuracy.
    Knowledge of editing, proofreading and basic administrative skills;
