System Administrator - Jupiter, United States - Open Systems Technologies

A financial firm is currently looking for a System Administrator to join their team in Jupiter, FL.

Compensation: $120-140k base

Hybrid Schedule: Monday, Wed, Friday in-office with flexibility

Keys for this Role:

• VMWare and Windows required
• Financial services experience preferred
• Looking for someone with 4-11 years of experience

Responsibilities:

• Develops and maintains all systems, applications, security, and network configurations
• Recommends upgrades, patches, and new applications/equipment
• Provides technical support and guidance to users
• Responsible for the analysis of hardware and software in a distributed networking environment utilizing network management and monitoring software and systems
• Provide 2nd and 3rd line support as necessary to support all user desktop environments including Virtual Desktop Infrastructure VMs

Qualifications:

Required

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or another related field
• 5+ years managing a vSphere vCenter environment
• 5+ years set up and troubleshooting of Windows Server systems and associated applications
• 3+ years' experience managing Business Continuity\Disaster Recovery\Backup solutions
• Experience with datacenter hardware and cabling
• Advanced TCP/IP knowledge - routing/subnetting/dns/dhcp and troubleshooting network issues
• Windows Desktop Support and applications deployment\troubleshooting

Preferred

• Management of shared storage systems (iSCSI/Fiber Channel)
• Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, specifically VMWare Horizon
• Finance Industry experience
