    Description

    We're looking for a Lead Graphic Designer for a successful Los-Angeles-based beauty and lifestyle brand that's elevating the hair, skin, and self-care game from the inside out.

    Our ideal candidate has a mastery of social media, is on the pulse of all things happening in the beauty and wellness space, and knows the ins and outs of creating impactful, engaging digital design that beauty audiences will love.

    Position Summary:

    You'll design and create digital assets for social media, marketing materials, email campaigns, website, and other platforms. Our ideal candidate has a mastery of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and other graphic design applications and MUST be an avid user of all social platforms – Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, and YouTube. In short, you know what it takes to develop highly engaging and breakthrough content.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Conceptualize, develop, and drive the execution of original, highly engaging, creative content across all social media platforms, email marketing campaigns, website graphics, product packaging & digital ads
    • Stay on top of beauty and wellness trends and develop exciting and appealing content while attracting new and current customers to continue to follow our brand and use our products
    • Plan, produce and edit all creatives, including photography, video, graphics, and copywriting that's uniquely tailored to our brand
    • Collaborate on creative content strategies by brainstorming with internal and external teams on ways to grow social communities and encourage higher engagement
    • Delegate and oversee projects to the Jr. Designer
    • Help develop smart, witty, scroll-stopping captions and copy that are well-written and consistent with brand voice and tone
    • Execute strategic social strategies and campaigns for new product launches
    • Contribute meaningfully to team meetings by contributing original ideas for campaigns that will elevate the brand and drive sales
    • Coordinate the marketing calendar two months ahead and keep the team in line with deadlines and campaigns

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

    • 2-3 years of design and marketing experience with proven creative & executional expertise, including conceptualizing, producing, and editing videos and photography
    • Live in or around LA and able to meet in in the El Segundo office 2/3 days a week
    • A portfolio with demonstrated end-to-end digital design experience for social media, marketing, and packaging
    • Marketing background to bring campaigns to life which adhere to marketing strategies and business goals
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills; Proven ability to effectively communicate in written, visual, and video formats
    • Creative and well-organized
    • Collaborative and enthusiastic with a positive, can-do attitude. High energy a definite plus
    • Ability to successfully manage members of the team
    • Strong attention to detail, specifically spelling, grammar and punctuation.
    • Strong prioritization skills with the ability to manage and complete multiple projects simultaneously within time constraints
    • Must have a keen eye for beautiful and inspiring content, be an effective storyteller through written and visual communication and have a passion for health, beauty, and pop culture
    • Deeply embedded in all things social media and internet culture
    • CPG or Beauty Brand Experience a big plus
    • Thrives in a fast paced and ever-changing environment
