Job summary
The Supply Chain Manager reports directly to the Manufacturing Director and serves as a player-coach managing a small team of buyers while remaining deeply involved in execution this role is responsible for ensuring materials are available to support production suppliers are performing and purchasing data is accurate and actionable.
Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day procurement purchasing supplier management activities
- Manage all procurement team currently buyers
- Ensure timely PO placement follow-up material availability production Monitor supplier delivery quality responsiveness drive corrective actions needed Establish maintain basic supplier KPIs performance tracking Support demand planning forecasting collaboration Manufacturing Maintain improve ERP MRP data accuracy NetSuite preferred Identify resolve material shortages lead-time issues supply risks Assist cost control cost-reduction initiatives Participate qualifying onboarding new suppliers required Develop maintain procurement-related SOPs documentation Provide clear reporting status updates operations leadership
