The position:
Structural Engineer
Structural Engineers serve as an integral part of the project team and work on projects ranging in scope and scale.
They have technical proficiency in at least one structural material type and can work independently to design structural members, elements, and/or connections for building gravity and lateral systems.
Primary Responsibilities:
Analyze and design structural elements and systems for steel, concrete, timber and masonry buildings in accordance with applicable building codes and design standards
Prepare and review drawing

Communicate and coordinate with clients independently
Manage CA activities
Constantly seek opportunities to improve self and practice. Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to draw, sketch and detail in ways that convey design intent
Proven ability to take independent, responsible share of increasing portions of a project
Proficient in the use of computer analysis software (e.g., ETABS, RAM, etc.)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate succinctly and effectively
Detail oriented with strong interpersonal, problem solving and team building skills
Experience Education and Licensure
7+ years of experience in the structural design of concrete, steel, masonry, and wood frame structures.
