- Perform services as stated within the occupational therapy assistance scope
- Responsible for the treatment of residents with noted disorders or deficits within occupational therapy assistance scope of practice upon receiving Physician order and completion of evaluation
- Optimize the functionality and skills of patients
- Responsible for the objective screening of residents
- Complete all necessary medical documentation
- Collaborate with OT to develop programs appropriate to the needs of facility residents while fulfilling OTA / OT co-signature and supervision requirements
- Attend all required meetings including care planning, staff meetings and family meetings
- Prior Senior Living Community and/or geriatric experience
- Prior use of rehabilitation documentation software
- Minimum Associate degree or its equivalent.
- Certified in Occupational Therapy Assistant Program
- State Licensure
