    Summary:
    Our client is looking for a talented Software Development Engineer II to join their Content Platform team.

    The ideal candidate will play a critical role in offering first-level support and development for incoming production software application issues.

    Your contributions will directly impact customers by improving the stability and efficiency of the merchandising applications.

    Key Responsibilities:
    Develop monitoring solutions, troubleshoot/debug, and implement fixes for internally developed code (Perl, C/C++, Java).
    Execute SQL queries and enhance systems that gather feature metrics.
    Update, track, and resolve technical challenges.
    Collaborate with development teams on corporate and divisional software projects to update/enhance existing software.
    Automate support processes and document the team's systems.

    Must-Have Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical discipline.

    2-5 years of relevant experience in software development, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.

    Strong coding skills in scripting languages (preferably Python, Java).
    Advanced proficiency in logical and maintainable coding, as well as in algorithms and data structures.
    Proficient in problem-solving and system design, including patterns, reliability, and scalability of new and existing systems.
    Detail-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism under pressure.

    Nice-to-Have Skills:
    Knowledge of Mason, Perl CGI, Oracle SQL, HTML, UNIX/LINUX.
    Familiarity with Perl, C/C++, and Java.
