- Meets and greets patient before exam.
- Performs CT exams following Radiologist's Protocols
- Operates all CT equipment, including cardiac gating and image transferring.
- Identifies pathology and takes initiative for additional images.
- Maintains communication with guest during study.
- Ensures proper maintenance of clinical equipment and troubleshoots issues.
- Operates IV Contrast injectors and Proctocol System.
- Verifies contrast and physician order before injection.
- Operates 3-D workstation, PACs System, and printers.
- Coordinates patient exams and medical necessity with Scheduling Representative(s).
- Follows radiation safety guidelines and uses lead shielding.
- Reports findings to Radiologist and referring physicians.
- Practices sterile field procedures and assists in invasive procedures.
- Observes IV Contrast injections.
- Ensures timely completion of procedures.
- Codes and completes ordered procedures accurately.
- Confirms orders and patient consent before exams.
- Performs other required duties.
- Follows safety and compliance policies.
