- Assist with Installations: Help electricians with electrical rough-in and installations in residential and commercial buildings.
- Support Maintenance and Repairs: Assist in troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems under the supervision of a licensed electrician.
- Wiring Support: Aid in the installation of wiring for new construction projects and upgrades for existing electrical systems.
- Equipment Setup: Help set up and install electrical equipment, fixtures, and appliances.
- Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- System Testing: Assist in testing electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other technical diagrams.
- Tool and Material Handling: Transport tools, materials, and equipment to job sites and ensure they are in good working condition.
- Site Clean-up: Help maintain a clean and organized work environment on job sites.
- Customer Interaction: Assist in interacting with clients to explain work processes and address concerns under the guidance of a licensed electrician.
- Documentation: Help maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members and contractors to ensure project success.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions from experienced electricians.
- OSHA 40 hours.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and tools is a plus.
- Ability to work in various environments and conditions.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
- High school diploma or equivalent; enrollment in a technical or vocational training program is a plus.
- Own Basic Tools: Must have own basic tools necessary for assisting in electrical work.
