    Sales and Service Representative

    About Crystal Clean

    Crystal Clean (CC) is one of the nation's leading privately held companies in the environmental waste services industry. We offer competitive compensation, excellent benefits, and opportunities for advancement.

    Purpose of the Role

    The Sales and Service Representative (SSR) will apply sales strategies to grow CC's business at new and existing customer sites. The SSR will also perform CC services at customer facilities.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Engage in and promote safe work behaviors consistent with all CC safety guidelines.
    • Provide customer service and develop new business in a designated geographic area.
    • Align work orders to minimize mileage and travel time.
    • Inspect vehicle and equipment for safe operation.
    • Service existing customers by exchanging solvent or aqueous fluids, removing drum wastes, servicing parts washers, and other equipment.
    • Pursue additional services with existing accounts.
    • Assess potential customer needs, present CC products and services, and develop new customers.
    • Develop sales leads for Data-Marketing.
    • Maintain compliance with all applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements.

    Requirements

    To be successful in this role, an individual must possess the following:

    • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to interact with customers, sales branch employees, and other corporate departments.
    • Ability to operate equipment such as electronic mobile devices, computers, hoses, and truck equipment.

    Qualifications

    The ideal candidate will have:

    • Route sales experience preferred.
    • High School diploma or equivalent required.
    • A Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and Med Card with Airbrake and HAZMAT.
    • A motor vehicle record (MVR) that meets or exceeds CC's published standards.

    Work Environment

    This role requires working in various environments and includes physical demands such as frequent lifting, pushing/pulling, bending, squatting, climbing, and twisting.
