Key Role

We are seeking a skilled engineer to support our Windows Server hosted environment. Our team collaborates with business platform teams to deliver cloud management capabilities, leveraging modern computing paradigms and cloud computing to accelerate technical adoption and drive innovation.

Job Responsibilities

Scope of Work

We require an experienced engineer to maintain and support our Microsoft Windows platform. The successful candidate will have a background in Windows server hosting, with a strong desire to learn and grow. They will work closely with architecture, infrastructure, security, and project management functions to build, configure, and maintain internal and external Windows Server technology platforms.

Main Tasks

Operational Support: Installation, configuration, operation, maintenance, and patching of systems software and related infrastructure for the Microsoft Windows platform. This includes supporting AD/DNS, IIS, Domain, and encryption security protocols, including certificate management.
Project Support: Planning, designing, and supporting Windows Server platforms across a cloud-based environment. Collaborate with IT Services and business platform technologists as needed to ensure smooth operation.
Problem Solving: Resolve service interruptions, participate in root cause analysis during post-mortems, and recommend solutions to improve efficiency.

Requirements

Windows server administration experience for web and applications hosted in multiple cloud environments.
Solid understanding and experience with one of the following clouds: Google Cloud Platform or Amazon Web Services.
Enterprise DNS Management and Active Directory, including operating system upgrades and operational activities related to ongoing support of DNS and AD.
IIS Administration, including troubleshooting IIS applications across multiple business platforms.
Experience working with domain and SSL certificate management.
Ability to interpret security requirements and apply them to infrastructure or software systems.
Ability to triage, execute root cause analysis, and make decisions under pressure.
Commitment to reducing technical inefficiencies and toil.
Proficient communication skills to reach both technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience with incident management and problem management practices is a plus.

Education

Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field and 3-6 years of experience in the qualified areas above.
