Inviting applications for the role of Consultant - Business Analyst Ontologist

As an Ontologist, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing ontologies to enhance our understanding and representation of data within our organization. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in knowledge representation, semantic modelling, and data integration. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• and develop ontologies to capture and represent domain-specific knowledge and relationships. Collaborate with subject matter experts to understand and formalize domain concepts.
• and maintain semantic models to enable effective data integration and interoperability. Implement and maintain standards for ontology development and ensure adherence across projects.
• quality assessments on ontology. Implement best practices.
• processes, guidelines, and any issues encountered during the Ontology tasks.

Qualifications we seek in you

Minimum qualifications

• in Finance / Commerce, MBA /Finance major preferred,
• preferably in computer science and data can also be considered.

Preferred qualifications

• with Financial Statements and their interpretation.
• knowledge of financial and business terms.
• interpersonal & communication skills (verbal & written)
• in creating and maintaining Taxonomy in the Financial domain is an advantage.
• in MS Excel

The approximate annual base compensation range for this position is [$50,000 to $62,500]. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package plus benefits, will be determined by a number of factors which include but are not limited to the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities; geographic location; and internal equity
