    Description

    Job Responsibilities:
    Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned Data Centre projects.

    Monitor compliance to relevant codes, practices, performance standards, specifications and internal QA/QC policies.

    Interact regularly with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field.

    Co-ordinate with all contractors, building management and/or appointed contractors by client/building management during execution of project.

    Perform overall quality control of the work (schedule, plans, contractor's performance) and report regularly on project status.

    Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support.

    Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions.


    Job Requirements:
    Minimum Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Building Services.

    Proven working Data Centre experience as a project engineer.

    Excellent knowledge of design and visualisations software such as AutoCAD and MS Visio.

    Advanced MS Office skills.

    Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and applicable statutory standards.

    Familiarity with Workplace Safety and Health requirements.

    Ability to work with multiple discipline projects.

    Project management and supervision skills.

    Decision making ability and leadership skills.

    Time management and organization skill.

    Meticulous and have an eye for details with positive working attitude.

    Organized and details-oriented, with a strong focus on accuracy.

    Able to work under pressure and tight deadline.
