Description

Aerothreads is actively seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to join our stellar organization of designers, and fabricators supporting our customers in the rapidly growing aerospace industry.

Founded in 2014, Aerothreads is an MLI (Multi-Layer Insulation) industry leader, offering consultation, design, fabrication, installation, and critical support services to a variety of clients, for both test and flight aerospace applications. Responsibilities:

Perform cash flow analysis and monitor financial transactions

Prepare and review journal entries, ensuring accuracy and completeness

Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies

Process accounts payable and ensure timely payment of invoices

Assist with month-end and year-end close processes

Prepare financial statements and reports for management review

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary financial information

Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions

Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

Strong knowledge of debits, credits, and accrual accounting principles

Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g., PeopleSoft, Xero)

-Experience with Deltek Costpoint highly desired

Experience with corporate accounting processes and procedures

Excellent attention to detail and ability to analyze financial data

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
