    Job Description:


    The Controller plays a pivotal role in our Clients firm, overseeing financial activities and ensuring the integrity of financial information.

    As a key member of our team, the Controller will be responsible for managing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance functions.

    The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of accounting principles and regulations.


    Responsibilities:

    Financial Reporting:
    Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

    Ensure accurate and timely reporting in compliance with GAAP standards.

    Develop and maintain financial reporting policies and procedures.


    Budgeting and Forecasting:
    Collaborate with management to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts.

    Monitor budget-to-actual performance and provide variance analysis.

    Identify areas for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.


    Cash Management:
    Manage cash flow by monitoring bank balances and cash forecasts.

    Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

    Optimize working capital and liquidity management.


    Compliance and Risk Management:
    Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and tax filings.

    Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and mitigate risks.

    Coordinate audits and reviews conducted by external auditors and regulatory agencies.

    Financial Analysis and Decision Support:
    Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.

    Provide insights into business performance and trends.

    Collaborate with management to evaluate investment opportunities and potential acquisitions.


    Team Leadership and Development:
    Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

    Set performance goals and provide regular feedback to team members.

    Promote cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing within the finance department.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation preferred.

    10+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles, with [X] years in a supervisory capacity.

    Thorough understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting requirements.

    Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced knowledge of MS Excel.

    Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and trends.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

    Proven leadership ability with a track record of developing and motivating high-performing teams.
