    Overview Working directly for the CFO, the Director of FP&A will drive company-wide business financial and operational efficiency and profit performance.

    The position interacts with Ajinomoto Foods North America (AFNA) leadership team, Business Unit leaders and the finance team directly providing timely and comprehensive information and analysis to drive Senior Executive decision making.

    The ideal candidate must have a hands on approach, have strong leadership, business operations, analytical and communications skills.
    Responsibilities
    Lead the Financial Planning and Analysis team, including building and developing staff
    Take lead on monthly results analysis working closely with Sales, Operations and Finance going beyond presenting numbers but providing insights on drivers
    Lead the monthly 12 month rolling forecast process working closely across the organization to not only consolidate data but identify risk & opps and insights on the business performance
    Lead the annual budgeting process working towards replacing budget with the rolling forecast
    Work with Finance Business Partners to deep dive into customer/segment results and operational results
    Delivery timely reports, consistently and accurately
    Drive standardization on reports and leverage further standardized PowerBI reports
    Develop meaningful SG&A reports helping functional leads manage their spending
    Work closely with AFNA Corporate Planning department to provide required reporting to Tokyo affiliates
    Support Senior Management and Business Unit leaders on various ad hoc analysis and special projects as required
    Qualifications
    Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting; MBA and Master Degree preferred.
    Proven leadership and effective team development
    Progressive career development
    15+ years of strong Financial and Accounting experience in a manufacturing environment preferably in the Food industry
    Broad business experience on both P&L and Balance Sheet
    Excellent written and communication skills with the ability to interact with Business Unit executives in a professional manner
    Must be a team player with initiative, passion and a demonstrated ability to drive profit improvement initiatives.
    Exercises considerable discretion and independent judgment and handles confidential information.
    Highly proficient in PowerPoint and Excel
    This position is based in Ontario, California with some domestic travel
    Range $180,000 to $190,000
