- Runs campus errands
- Assists administrative staff
- Monitors facilities and performs general administrative tasks
- Offers prompt and friendly customer service in person, via chat, and over the phone
- Aids in providing books, laptops, and other media equipment to library patrons
- Reserves items for library patrons
- Assists patrons with using computers, printers, scanners, and copiers
- Assists staff with basic equipment maintenance and special projects
- Helps with shelving, shelf-reading, and material retrieval
- Demonstrates proficiency in using the Libraries' website and computer systems
- Assists in promoting and conducting outreach activities for the Libraries
- Up to 25 hours per week
- Flexible with schedule of availability
- Must be enrolled in six or more undergraduate credit hours at Georgia Southern University.

Job Summary
The Work Study Student will support the Lane Library Circulation Desk as a Library Assistant on the Armstrong Campus beginning Spring 2024.
Student employees cannot work more than 1300 hours in a 12-consecutive month period.
