- Assist with the processing of Garnishments and Levies
- Provide backup relief for Garnishments and Levies
- Work closely with the bank's legal team to research events as needed
- Work closely with attorneys, courts, and investigators as needed to ensure proper handling of subpoenas
- Assist branch with research needs as it relates to imaged and paper documents
- Cross-train on other functions within the department as needed
- Work closely with the other associates in this area to ensure the timely processing of time sensitive projects/tasks
- Provide input to the Deposit Ops Management teams for process efficiencies and workflow adjustments as needed
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1-2 years of job related experience
- Good knowledge of bank operations, policies, and procedures
- High energy and self-motivated
- Knowledge of fundamental arithmetic and advanced balancing and reconciliation skills
- Proficient in working with electronic systems, such as Microsoft Excel, Word, etc. as well as learning to use multiple internal bank imaging systems
- Ability to learn and master multiple duties with multi-tasking skills
- Good analytical skills
- Must have excellent time management skills since this role has time sensitive deadlines
- Due to the time sensitive nature of this position, work attendance and punctuality is a necessity
- Ability to communicate and deal professionally with associates across the organization, attorney groups, bank clients, bank examiners, and internal/external auditors
- Good organization, attention to detail, and record-keeping skills

Overview
The Deposit Research Specialist will be responsible for performing duties and tasks as it relates to deposit account research for Subpoenas, Garnishments and Levies, Legal, branch requests, etc.
