Exciting opportunity to be part of the team as a Physical Therapist at NYU Langone Ambulatory Care in Lake Success.

In this role, you will be responsible for assessing physical therapy needs and providing comprehensive, medically prescribed treatment to assigned patients in a supervised rehabilitation program.

• Perform initial assessment and evaluation of physical therapy needs for assigned patient populations
• Review medical charts to gather essential medical information and clarify treatment orders if needed for unfamiliar diagnoses
• Select appropriate assessment tools to determine the patient's status accurately
• Demonstrate effective clinical decision-making and make changes to the treatment plan when necessary
• Ensure proficiency in necessary skills to treat patients
• Participate in educating fieldwork students and other professional educational activities
• Complete all required documentation for patient care and reimbursement
• Implement treatment plans and protocols following professional standards
• Assess educational needs of patients and families and provide education and training during the rehabilitation process

Bachelors Degree in Physical Therapy, New York State Physical Therapy License or temporary permit, Good communication and interpersonal skills, Experience with oncology patients, Certification in lymphedema preferred.

• Masters Degree in Physical Therapy or related field
• Lymphedema certification
• Experience with oncology patients

To maintain transparency, NYU Langone Health provides a salary range for the role of $88,000 to $98,264.80 annually. Actual salaries may vary based on experience, specialty, education, and hospital requirements. The provided salary range does not include bonuses, incentives, or other forms of compensation.
