    What's the role:

    Bloomberg is seeking a senior Product Manager under Core Product's News Product group focused on News AI. As the Product Manager, you will be responsible for leading the product vision and driving the strategy and execution of elements of client facing terminal news products. To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in financial client workflows, problem solving and professional strategy, and a preference for experience within the news industry. If you want to help solve complicated client and technical problems, then we want to hear from you.

    This role focuses on AI & software development focused on surfacing the right news in the right place at the right time. It includes coordination amongst multiple engineering teams and cross-departmental stakeholders. In this role, we expect you to become an expert and stay up-to-date on how the financial community views and understands news.

    We'll trust you to:

  • Take responsibility for the strategy and execution of news product development
  • Regularly evaluate the quality and determine client impact as it relates to news content for terminal screens
  • Have a technical mindset to consider system implications
  • Work closely with multiple engineering teams to articulate requirements and coordinate execution
  • Effectively translate technical jargon to non-technical users and articulate clear requirements to our engineers
  • Spend time with our users and colleagues to constantly stay on-top-of needs, trends, and evolving opportunities
  • Partner with other product leads and engineering teams to solve problems that expand outside your team
  • Plan and lead the rollout of new features and products to users
  • You'll need to have:

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in a Product Management capacity*
  • Demonstrable knowledge of cross-asset financial client workflows
  • Prioritization experience including roadmap prioritization, release management, user interviews, and data-driven analysis
  • We'd love to see:

  • Experience with developing solutions leveraging AI
  • Experience owning technical roadmaps
  • Experience architecting a product vision that moves the needle and gets users excited
  • Ability to be comfortable with details and complexities without losing sight of the big picture
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate the product vision, goals and impact clearly and consistently to leadership and partners
  • A passion for thoughtful user experience
  • Demonstrable experience addressing multiple priorities in a timely manner while working in a fast-paced environment
