    RN Oncology / Urology
    Boulder Community Health, Boulder, CO 80303

    $ $47.52 an hour -
    Per Diem, Nights. Variosu hours a week.
    *Includes Per Diema nd Night Differential. +$2.50 for weekends.


    Boulder Community health is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Oncology & Urology Department, where you will serve as a dedicated patient caregiver.

    Within our care delivery system, the RN will apply nursing theories, procedures, and standards to provide comprehensive and compassionate patient care.

    Qualifications


    • Colorado RN license in good standing.
    • BLS certification required by completion within conditional period of hired position.
    • ACLS encouraged for Clinical Team Leads.
    • OCN certification preferred.
    • ONS Chemotherapy certification within 6 months of hire. New Graduate RN's will have 1 year from hire to complete ONS certification.

    Responsibilities

    • Provides direct total patient care for specific group of patients with collaboration as needed.
    • Demonstrates clinical competence in performing nursing procedures and identifies the rationale underlying the nursing skills.
    • Identifies patient care problems, makes interventions based upon an understanding of the biopsychosocial processes.
    • Assesses patient status systematically and anticipates and responds to changes in patient clinical condition.
    • Actively seeks participation of the patient, family, and other members of the health care team to assure continuity of patient care.
