Assist in planning supervising and implementing camp programs in accordance with guidelines from American Camping Association ACA Provide quality care and supervision to children visual proactive interactive provide a safe environment for all children to thrive track attendance ensure a valid membership is on file and children are released to caretakers guide behaviors using positive methods keeping in mind each child s individual needs assist in supervising activities and lesson plans ensure the program is delivering Healthy Eating and Physical Activity HEPA standards set up cleanup of the program area including vacuuming sweeping dusting trash removal etc provide exceptional customer service and foster connections with children families at Channel Islands YMCA we are committed to building bridges within our communities we aspire to create spaces experiences culture where all people belong feel connected h3Our Commitment to Belonging/h3 pWe aspire to create spaces experiences culture where all people belong feel connected Our commitment will begin this summer by working closely together as staff members community members parents guardians campers participants We will explore ways that everyone can have fun contribute make new friends learn skills build relationships h4Qualificationsh4 ul li Must be at least 18 years old/li li High School Diploma or equivalent/li li Previous experience working in related field preferred/li li Ability obtain criminal record clearance/li li Complete required certifications within days of hire/ul ,
