    Description

    The Corporate Paralegal is responsible for legal drafting, research, project support, document management, and coordination of various company-wide projects while providing executive level legal administrative and project support to the in-house Legal Department and coordination with outside General Counsel.

    Minimum Requirements


    • 3+ years previous experience supporting senior executives and counsel in a corporate legal environment
    • Certified Paralegal (C.P.) or Juris Doctor degree strongly preferred
    • SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and cloud-based document management experience
    • Thorough knowledge of business legal documents / contracts and their coordination
    • Skillful in legal drafting and analysis in transactional and contract law environments
    • Reliable researcher, fact finder and information collector
    • Strong organizational skills coupled with the ability to think critically and strategically
    • Precise attention to detail, resourceful with high initiative
    • Excellent communication and language skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of executive management and staff, both internal and external
    • Position requires flexibility and dedication in meeting project deadlines
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with the pressure of deadlines, developing project goals and a consistently changing environment
    • Excellent judgment, use of tact, and the utmost integrity in sensitive and confidential matters
    Preferred Qualifications


    • Bachelor's degree in business, legal studies, or related field
    • Previous legal experience in healthcare or corporate business
    • Accounting and/or financial analysis experience
    Essential Functions


    • Draft legal document production, inclusive of producing legal work product through transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying, and transmitting text, data, and graphics for legal and business matters.
    • Review, read, document, research, and route correspondence, agreements, and contracts, including drafting, collecting, and analyzing information associated with such matters.
    • Create and maintain a complicated file structures and cloud-based document management systems.
    • Manage and maintain organization for the digital legal libraries.
    • Facilitate the management and operation of the legal service requests.
    • Assist in the analysis, review and tracking of legal service invoicing.
    • Calculate ownership schedules in coordination with transaction documents.
    • Perform ad hoc special projects.
