    Description


    Randolph-Macon College invites applications for a full-time Mail Services Coordinator for the Mail Services department. Excellent benefits package including health, dental, retirement and tuition remission are provided.

    Responsibilities

    • Pick up, sort and deliver faculty, staff & student mail to appropriate destinations on the campus.
    • Train, and supervise student staff in the mail room. This includes establishing work schedules, ensuring proper procedures are followed, and monitoring progress on assigned tasks.
    • Perform shipping and receiving duties as needed.
    • Maintain the package inventory system located in Brock Commons.
    • Respond to requests from students, faculty, campus visitors and other staff members in a professional manner.
    • Maintain inventory records of packages (Brock Commons and Peele Hall).
    • Ensure efficient operations of mail services for the campus.

    Qualifications

    • A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
    • A valid driver's license is required.
    • Must meet all requirements for a background check and motor vehicle driving report.
    • Good oral and written communication skills.
    • Ability to plan and organize work schedules to ensure work goals are accomplished efficiently.
    • Ability to work as a team member within the overall organization of the Physical Plant Staff.
