    Population Health Innovation and Delivery Manager

    Job Duties


    Lead the conceptualization, design, and implementation of innovative population health technology solutions tailored for payers, providers, and pharmaceutical companies to drive improved health outcomes and customer satisfaction.

    Spearhead the development of a comprehensive sub-portfolio of population health solutions, prioritizing those with the highest potential impact on health outcomes and business objectives.

    Act as a pivotal figure within the organization, bridging strategy, design, engineering, clinical, and operational domains to ensure seamless collaboration and alignment with internal stakeholders and external partners.

    Lead the ideation and discovery phase of projects, translating insights into actionable strategic directions and project plans that guide the development, testing, and launch of innovative solutions.

    Utilize data-driven frameworks to inform decision-making regarding the development, acquisition, or partnership of population health solutions, fostering successful collaborations with external digital health entities when necessary.

    Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs), continuously optimizing solutions to drive incremental value and meet evolving customer needs across various segments.

    Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to devise data ingestion and optimization strategies, ensuring that solutions are effectively scaled and enhanced to achieve desired outcomes.

    Develop and execute go-to-market strategies, leveraging expertise from national and market leadership teams to ensure successful product launches and market penetration.

    Provide guidance on product management processes and tools, championing best practices such as human-centered design, user research, and concept testing to drive innovation and customer-centricity.

    Apply advanced research and analytical skills to generate high-quality deliverables and recommendations for senior executives, aligning population health initiatives with overarching business objectives.

    Mentor and empower junior team members, providing guidance and support in their professional development, both as direct reports and as integral members of cross-functional solution development teams.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's degree preferred.

    7+ years of experience in healthcare or managed care, with a demonstrated track record of success in developing and implementing population health solutions.

    Proficiency in financial and utilization reporting, with the ability to monitor contract performance, identify trends, and drive data-driven decision-making.

    Strong understanding of complex hospital/payor contractual agreements, with the ability to ensure program standards are upheld by staff and participants.

    Exceptional critical thinking skills and the ability to thrive in high-pressure situations, with a keen eye for problem-solving and decision-making.

    Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse stakeholder groups.
    Experience in implementing complex programs and garnering consensus among stakeholders to drive successful outcomes.
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint.

    Familiarity with product management processes and tools, including human-centered design thinking, user research, business case development, and product blueprints, is highly desirable.

    Proficiency in project management methodologies such as Agile or Scrum, along with experience leading cross-functional teams and driving project execution in a collaborative environment.

    Desired Skills

    Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Python (with libraries like Pandas, NumPy, and SciPy) or R. Familiarity with Tableau or Power BI.

    Knowledge of SQL (Structured Query Language), Machine Learning and Predictive Modeling, Basic understanding of software development principles and programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, or C#.

    Familiarity with healthcare standards and terminologies such as HL7 (Health Level Seven International), FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources), and ICD (International Classification of Diseases) codes.

    Experience in big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka, as well as experience working with distributed computing frameworks for processing and analyzing large-scale healthcare data sets.

    Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS (Amazon Web Services), Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, along with experience deploying and managing healthcare applications in cloud environments.

    Understanding of API (Application Programming Interface) integration techniques for connecting and exchanging data between different healthcare systems and applications.
    Awareness of cybersecurity best practices and regulations pertaining to healthcare data privacy and security, including HIPAA compliance.
