    At Yukon Veterinary Hospital, we provide a wide range of services from vaccinations and routine medical care to advanced diagnostics and surgery.

    We offer complete dental care, weight management consultations, soft tissue surgery, as well as diagnosis and treatment of internal medicine cases.

    Our receptionists will greet you personally and pleasantly, and our licensed veterinary technicians can educate you on topics such as bandage care and diabetic management.

    The highly trained doctors are dedicated to providing the best medical and surgical care for your beloved pets.

    Many of our staff members have been working with us for many years and as a team, we strive to make your experience at Yukon Vet as comfortable as possible.

    Our facility has state of the art medical equipment enabling us to provide in house laboratory diagnostics, digital radiology, and ultrasonography.

    Maintain the visual appeal or the hospital reception area, greet and welcome clients and patients, answer questions and triage client concerns, answer calls or emails and direct to the appropriate party for resolution, schedule appointments to maximize efficiency and daily flow, check in and check out clients and process payments.

    Our receptionists offer friendly emotional support in a compassionate and discreet manner during times of need to our clients and must be comfortable with various medical outcomes.

    May be exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste and potentially contagious diseases.

    This is a temporary position, June-September
    Shifts would include; Tues, Wed, Thurs, 7:00 AM-6:00 PM and alternating some Saturdays
    Experienced Receptionist with a minimum of 1-year veterinary experience preferred
    Highly organized and possess computer skills
    Ability to sit or stand and work at a computer for long periods of time.

    • Ability to be confident around animals (i.e., This position may require special working hours, including working weekends, evenings and/or holidays.
    • Must have mental capacity and processes for reasoning, remembering, mathematics and language ability (reading, writing, and speaking the English language) to perform the duties proficiently.
    • Job requires sufficient ambulatory skills in order to perform required duties while working.
    • Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm-hand-finger dexterity with the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard and operate other equipment as required.
    • Hospital teammates are routinely exposed to a variety of animals that may bite, kick or scratch, and on occasion, may be exposed to anesthesia, radiation, biological or zoonotic hazards and/or medication/controlled substances.
