- Maintain knowledge of employment legislation and ensure FIGHT's compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Manage Payroll Functions related to HR's role in conjunction with the Finance Department, coordinating salary offers, employee earnings and required employee deductions, adjustments, garnishments, etc.
- Coordinate all employee relations matters and be responsible for the development of effective compensation programs and wage/salary administration practices to ensure labor market competitiveness and internal equity.
- Establish management practices that support positive employer-employee relationships and promote a high level of employee morale and motivation.
- Identify staffing needs and create job descriptions.
- Manage staff wellness and performance reviews.
- Work toward continuous quality improvement.
- Stay current with changing technology, including software and job specific programs.
- Uphold, support, and promote all company policies and procedures.
- The Human Resources Director has supervisory responsibility for the Human Resources Department, including approximately three (3) direct reports.
- Master's degree (M. A.) or equivalent; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: PHR or SPHR preferred.
