- Configuration of new products/revision, such as product line mapping, routing, station process matrix, BOM configuration, and parent-child configuration
- Propose and Implement MES solutions to improve manufacturing processes, such as cycle-time improvement and scrap reduction.
- Evaluate requirements and design solutions, considering the pros and cons and limitations of Rockwell's FTPC software.
- Design and specify integration between the MES solution and process equipment, collaborating with controls engineers.
- Review test plans and testing methodology to mitigate risks and participate in testing to ensure functional and non-functional requirements are met.
- Customize or develop new configurations in the MES solution to continuously improve manufacturing processes.
- Provide level 2/3 support for MES operations, ensuring maximum uptime for the MES application by working with stakeholders and teams.
- Conduct root cause analysis on chronic and sporadic issues to ensure reliability of the MES application.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders/users to finalize requirements and provide functional MES solutions.
- Create and maintain technical support documents, instructional guidelines, process flow diagrams, and training materials for business users.
- 5-10 years of experience working as a Business Analyst, Technical Analyst, or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing systems, processes, and workflows.
- Proficient in system analysis, process mapping, and requirements gathering.
- Experience with manufacturing software and systems such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
- Familiarity with database concepts, SQL, and data analysis tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and drive change.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a keen attention to detail.
