    Description

    At The Wise Seeker we are looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to our client: is amongst the largest global automation companies with a strength of 1300+ employees and multiple facilities worldwide, with its headquarters in Pune, India.

    Location: Shelby Township, Michigan, USA

    Sector: Engineering

    Functions

    1. Design Optimization, Cost reduction, Process Improvement, Product Standardization.
    2. Planning of Design release
    3. Verification of equipment design, Identifying scope of improvement.
    4. Design time planning, monitoring, review, checking and issue solution of tasks.
    5. System integration Design and concept
    6. Stack up and Budget Preparation and Evaluation
    7. Cross Functional Leadership for Leading Technical Task
    8. Creation and Execution of Test Plan for System performance and Issue resolution during Same
    9. PCA/RCA of the Engineering/technical issues
    10. Verification AND Validation
    11. Absorption of new technologies and engineering tools Reports: Daily time sheet update, Daily Planning, review and update MPT for tasks and issues. Daily monitoring of design releases Meetings: Meeting with resources for active task management. Meeting with manager/project manager. Meeting with detailing team for Handover and CCR. Meeting with Build and vendor team at shop floor - Planning, Clarity, Review, Issue update at shop floor. Meeting with customer for design discussion and approval (as per instruction from manager)
    Requirements
    1. Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (minimum)
    2. 10 -12 years of relevant experiences
