    Insight Global is looking for an Authorization Specialist to join the #1 orthopedic hospital system in the country.

    This person will run prior authorizations for Surgical and Radiology procedures by verifying insurance eligibility and benefits, confirming medical necessity, and ensuring prior approvals are in place and maintained for the duration of service.

    This person will be reviewing an average of 45 authorizations per day while in communication with physician support staff throughout the organization.

    Individuals in this position will have a 3-month training period to ensure proper processes and protocol are well understood

    Proven experience having exceptional customer service skills
    Knowledge or past experience working with Surgical and/or Radiology authorizations
    Critical thinker and ability to multitask
    Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
    HS Diploma or equivalent
    COVID-19 Vaccination
    Flu shot

    EPIC EMR Experience
    Bachelors Degree
