    Financial Planning Paraplanner

    Lumen Wealth Management is a fee based financial planning firm with a primary focus on holistic financial planning. We primarily serve clients that in professional careers, creative arts careers, executives, medical professionals, veterinary professionals, family and privately held business owners, and entrepreneurs. Our firm provides full financial planning and wealth management services which include retirement planning, wealth management framework analysis, asset management stress tests and analysis, debt analysis, adequate insurance planning and analysis, tax planning, estate planning and charitable planning. Additionally, we assist clients in defining important personal and financial goals to create overall frameworks that allow them to live lives of significance.

    About the Role

    The paraplanner is primarily responsible for preparations of financial plans, proposals and presentations for client meetings, with guidance from the lead advisor and Practice Manager.

    Key duties of this role include creating and updating plans, conducting analysis and Roth conversions, tax modeling, managing data and overseeing the financial planning process and scheduling. The paraplanner would create values maps using a mind mapping process and validating solutions prepared by the lead. This is a great opportunity for someone who is team oriented, thrives on providing excellent customer care and loves to create and analyze financial plans.

    A successful candidate will be supporting financial advisors in two separate offices in Cleveland, OH and East Stroudsburg, PA. The position could be located in-person/hybrid based in Cleveland, OH or full-time remote.

    Qualifications:

    · Have basic experience with financial planning software, specifically eMoney, including basic to advanced fact entry, Needs Analysis, working knowledge of the Decision Center, and creating Advanced Planning scenarios.

    · Responsible for ensuring all processes and plan input and changes meet Compliance expectations.

    · Must have 2-3 years industry related experience or related college degree.

    · Would be willing to obtain professional licenses as needed for the role.

    · Can work independently and work through challenges effectively.

    · Is adaptable to varying environments.

    · Strong written communication skills, use of appropriate communication tools and etiquette.

    · Presents strong professional demeanor and appearance and works well in a team environment.

    · Is determined and goal focused, a problem solver.

    · Ability to work effectively and efficiently with new and changing technology is critical.

    · Experienced with Microsoft Office 360, Teams, Zoom, database CRM tools, and eMoney.

    Hours

    The role is a full-time position. Workflow will vary depending on the activities of the Financial Planner.

    Compensation

    Compensation for a full-time paraplanner ranges with experience and can range from $42,000 to $70,000 per year depending on experience. Factors for the compensation are industry related knowledge, office/support experience, and quantity of the workflow given by the financial planner.

    Future bonus opportunities may be developed and would depend on team contribution, ability to take on client interactions and assisting in managing the overall process.
