    The Design & Process Engineer designs, develops and improves new and existing products and manufacturing processes to increase throughput. Reports to the Design & Process Engineering Manager.
    Description


    Responsibilities:

    • Design and develop new products or improve existing ones using the Tenicor design process
    • Evaluate and select materials
    • Conduct testing and validation to ensure product performance and safety
    • Create and maintain design and process documentation and specifications
    • Develop and improve manufacturing processes and systems
    • Analyze and optimize production processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure successful production runs
    • Identify and implement new technologies and equipment to improve production processes
    • Perform root cause analysis to identify and solve production issues
    • Provide technical support to other departments as needed

    • Improved manufacturing efficiency and productivity
    • Reduced manufacturing costs
    • Improved product quality and consistency
    • Successful implementation of new technologies and equipment
    • Effective collaboration with other departments to ensure successful production runs and product launches
    • High-quality product designs that meet customer needs and requirements
    • Efficient and cost-effective product designs that can be manufactured at scale

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, product design or 1-5 years experience in design and process engineering or a related field
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
    • Proficiency in CAD software and other manufacturing software (preferably Autodesk Fusion 360)
    • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, technologies, and materials
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Familiarity with manufacturing principles and tools
    • Familiarity with product development processes
    • Successful completion of background check
    This position is on-site at our Moscow, ID location.
