    Description


    Assume direct patient care responsibilities as assigned by the radiologist or department director, ensure patient safety, perform x-ray examinations, perform X-ray, maintain an active continuing education program, maintain spirit of cooperation, conduct business as a health care professional, and ability to deliver age appropriate care.


    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
    High School Diploma or equivalent

    Graduate of an AMA approved school of radiological technology

    Successful completion of registry examination

    One year of experience under Board Certified Radiologist

    Minimal Certified (ARRT) (R)

    Prefer ARRT (R) (CT)


    EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE:
    High School diploma or equivalent

    BLS Certification

    ACLS strongly encouraged


    PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
    Continuous movement throughout the hospital

    Continuous standing

    Intermittent bending, kneeling, and squatting

    Ability to lift up to 30% of your body weight

    Ability to read and understand English

    Ability to communicate verbally and in writing

    Ability to interact with patients, families and staff in a professional

    manner in stressful situations.

    Ability to maintain matters of a confidential nature

    Ability to remain calm in crisis situations
