    Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - Medical Surgical - Neuro

    Shift: Nights / 6:45p-7:15a, 12x3, 36 hrs per week

    Length: 13 weeks

    Weekend Requirements: 3 weekends every 6 weeks, total of 6 weekend shifts between Saturday and Sundays

    Requirements:

    • NC License
    • 1 year experience
    • Med Surg, Telemetry, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias **Need experience in Stroke & Neuro
    • BLS
    • NIH

    • Float as needed within the service line, including but not limited to the following med surg units: Pulmonary unit, Neuro Medical unit, Neurovascular Surgical unit, Hematology/Oncology unit where they will take the general hematology/medical patients, GI/Renal, General Surgery Trauma unit, Orthopedic Surgical unit.

    JOB DETAILS:RATIOS: 1: patients per RN max) Average Daily Census: 282-3 CNA's available for supportSHIFT: *36 HOURS ONLY.12 HR NIGHTS***RTO: 7 days MAX***Float Requirement: *WILL REQUIRE FLOATING as needed within the service line, including but not limited to the following med surg units:*Pulmonary unit,*Neuro Medical unit,*Neurovascular Surgical unit,*Hematology/Oncology unit where they will take the general hematology/medical patients,*GI/Renal,*General Surgery Trauma unit,*Orthopedic Surgical unit.Weekend Requirement: *Weekend Requirements: 3 weekends every 6 weeks, total of 6 weekend shifts between Saturday and Sundays.
    PATIENT DIAGNOSES: 95% of our patients either have a stroke or Seizures or some form of Neurological deficit. Primary stroke, epilepsy monitoring area, all neuroscience focus.SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: *Role will NOT include floating to any COVID areas*UNIT SYSTEMS: PYXIS, EPIC, SBAR.SCHEDULING TYPE: Made to Balance Per the UnitsUNIT ORIENTATION: 24 HoursSCRUBS: Navy Blue and White any combination

    Weekly gross pay based on qualifications and experience. Rate applies to travel positions only (50+ miles from permanent address).
