    Maxim Healthcare Services is currently looking for a Novice Nurse - Licensed Practical Nurse (with less than 12 months of experience). If you are a new grad LPN or have under a year of experience, our Novice Nurse Training Program offers a great opportunity for you. Partnering with an experienced Maxim nurse will give you real-time feedback, training, and mentorship. Gain hands-on experience working directly with patients in their homes. Learn patient care, vent/trach/g-tube management, and critical thinking skills with 24/7 clinical supervising team support. ***Benefits:*** - Competitive pay & weekly paychecks - Paid training - Health, dental, vision, and life insurance - 401(k) savings plan - Awards and recognition programs. ***Responsibilities:*** - Utilize the nursing process for patient/client care - Administer medications and treatments, monitor effectiveness, and report changes - Document physician collaboration/coordination of care and communicate as needed - Ensure safety and effectiveness of the environment and equipment. ***Minimum Requirements:*** - Graduate of an accredited nursing school - Active LPN/LVN License - Current CPR certification - PPD or chest X-Ray if needed.
