    APN Healthcare Solutions is urgently hiring multiple Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) for our client in Rochester, NY for a 12/13 week contract with a high possibility of extension.

    Position Title: Sterile Processing Technician (SPT)

    Pay Rate: $26 - $30/Hourly

    Work Location: Rochester, NY

    Shift Type: Rotating Day/Evening/Night

    Hours/day: 8 Hours

    Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

    Licenses Requirement: WA license required

    Certification Requirement: ARRT, BLS

    Other Details:
    • Day/Evening/Night shift Call required approx.
    • Every 3rd weekend- sat 8am-mon 8am Process instrumentation from OR and Off Sites
    Job Description:
    • Decontaminate, clean, and disinfect surgical instruments and equipment as a Sterile Processing Tech.
    • Inspect instruments for damage, functionality, and cleanliness as a Sterile Processing Tech.
    • Assemble instrument trays and surgical sets according to established protocols as a Sterile Processing Tech.
    • Sterilize instruments and equipment using appropriate methods, such as autoclaving or chemical sterilization, as a Sterile Processing Tech.
    • Monitor sterilization processes and ensure compliance with quality assurance standards as a Sterile Processing Tech.
    • Maintain accurate records of instrument processing and sterilization activities as a Sterile Processing Tech.
    • Assist with inventory management, including ordering and restocking supplies as a Sterile Processing Tech.
    • Collaborate with surgical team members to ensure availability of sterile instruments for procedures as a Sterile Processing Tech.
    • Follow established infection control and safety procedures as a Sterile Processing Tech.
    • Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain competency in sterile processing techniques as a Sterile Processing Tech.
