Maintenance Technician

Pay Rate:
$22.76/hourLocation: Indianapolis, Indiana

Job Duties:
Follow all safety procedures and work as safe as possible at all times General cleaning Pickup bottles and cans around the plant Sweep or mop up around the plant Assist in taking out barrels Wipe down control panels Wipe down filters Operate bailer Adhere to GMP requirements by using color-coded charts Maintain a clean work area Participate in departmental GMP zone audits Participate, as required by the department manager, in Plant Quality System implementation and subsequent audits Maintain a positive work atmosphere and interaction with customers, coworkers, and management Clean HTST Room Clean Filler Room (pick up bottles and cans)

Organize all chemicals Clean the chemical case All other duties as assignedRequirements:
Must be computer literate and proficient in math Strong problem-solving skills Ability to read and interpret written information Demonstrated ability to meet productivity standards Observe safety and security procedures Strong ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals Good written and verbal communication skills with excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate professionally with customers and co-workers Have a strong work ethic and ability to work independently as well as working in a team Demonstrate attention to detail, a professional attitude, and produce accurate work product Must be proactive Must have the ability to follow up Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment Three months of related experience or training preferred High school diploma or general education degree (G.E.D.)
