- Working directly for the owner, this position is responsible for monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
- Preparing requested documents for the auditors
- Responsible for preparing and analyzing financial reports, WIP, cash flow and project and contract profitability
- Prepares quarterly and year-end financial reports and year-end corporate tax returns
- Responsible for supervising a staff of two people responsible for A/R, A/P and Payroll
- Prepares financials for multiple entities using QuickBooks and Sage, in addition to MS Office
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- 8+ years of experience, including 3+ years of experience in a construction environment
- Union experience highly desired
- Strong computer proficiency to help streamline and automate processes
