    Purpose


    You will provide structural engineering services to Worley, and its Customers and may provide technical support and supervision within the structural team.

    Duties and Responsibilities


    As Civil / Structural Engineer, you will be directly involved in the design of our current and future projects, contributing to bids, and developing broader technical solutions for the business.

    You'll be part of a strong group of engineers and supported by the wider pool of Worley resources.


    Your main responsibilities will be:
    ·

    Develop design packages for projects from feasibility studies, through to detailed design

    ·

    Civil/ structural engineering and design services include, but are not limited to:

    ensure safety in design is achieved

    participate in relevant meetings, prepare progress reports and follow the required checking procedures

    Ensuring that designs and calculations comply with the relevant procedures and codes and standards
    Ensuring engineering and design quality, technical accuracy of drawings, material quantities, etc.
    provide assistance and advice during construction activities.

    liaise with other disciplines to ensure requirements are captured and to feedback information back into the design process

    perform design supervision, as required

    reviewing designs (drawings, calculations, explanatory notes, etc.) developed by third party

    Working together with engineering delivery teams based in multiple countries/regions
    Comply with Quality and HSE standards and requirements throughout all project phases
    Qualifications:

    Special Job Requirements

    ·


    Track record and technical knowledge in complex multi-disciplinary projects, preferably in the industrial sector, power generation, conventional and alternative energy, oil and gas, chemicals, etc.

    ·

    Understanding and working knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and best practices

    ,

    including seismic design

    ·

    Experience in working in multidisciplinary teams, good communication skills.

    ·

    At least Bachelor's degree in respective Engineering discipline

    ·

    7+ years of relevant experience

    ·

    Czech or Slovak language is a must

    ·

    Working level of English, especially technical

    ·

    Experience with Finite Elements models (FEM) software as SAP2000, STAAD, Robot or similar

    ·

    Experience with 3D BIM software as Advance Steel, Tekla, or similar is advantage

    This role can be

    delivered remotely or by hybrid working with attendance at one of our local offices, such as Pilsen, Czech Republic
