    Description

    Job Title:

    A Field Service Representative is sought to provide specialized machinery repairs to customers and end users. The selected candidate will perform a variety of duties including mechanical repairs, field service calls, and customer inquiries.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Mechanical repairs to equipment
    • Field service calls for new product start-up and equipment repairs
    • Customer inquiries via telephone, online networks, and in-person
    • Troubleshooting and providing product usage guidance to customers
    • Handling customer complaints related to product use
    • Requesting replacement of defective parts
    • Communication with programmers and engineers regarding system and machine issues
    • Documenting and processing paperwork and records
    • Assisting in final testing of new products and quality requirements

    Requirements:

    • Technical degree preferred with 2-3 years of experience in a similar industry
    • Good verbal communication skills
    • Written reports essential to job performance
    • Deductive reasoning skills applied to cause and effect of mechanical and electrical functions

    Work Environment:

    • In-office work
    • Travel to customer sites as required
