- Full understanding of accounting related tasks (Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable)
- Experience reading investment statements and posting investment activity
- Working in the General Ledger creating entries and performing reconciliations
- Closing the books for both month-end and year-end
- Ability to look at financial statements with an analytical eye
- Generating reports
- Coordinating with outside auditors during year end audits
- Maintaining orderly files for all accounting source documents
- Allocating vendor bills to various funds
- Ideal candidate would have 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping, be a fast learner with strong attention to detail, be well organized and able to work with little supervision.
- Associates degree or higher in accounting preferred.
