    Position Summary

    Manage engineering projects from product introduction through prove out acceptance, ensuring schedule targets and budgets are achieved. This includes New Product Introduction, ECR/s/Part Number Rolls, and VAEP activities. Monitor daily operations to identify and resolve issues with support of other department personnel as required. Work closely with customers to coordinate actions and drive technical assistance requests to completion. Tracks and analyzes project results. Maintain communication, visibility, and close coordination with program managers, customers, and supplier representative(s).

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Support & facilitate customer transition projects to achieve on-time delivery and Customer Satisfaction.

    Monitor transition schedule daily to ensure key milestones are on target.

    Coordinate and report internal recovery schedule to ensure on-time delivery to customer.

    Track and facilitate activities to resolve technical customer support requests. Direct internal and customer communication, including written correspondence and teleconferences, to provide timely resolution of technical customer supports requests.

    Develop, implement, and track additional projects as assigned (VAEP, PNR, & ECR).

    Education and Experience:
    Bachelor's degree in Business (Preferred)

    Minimum two (2) years professional experience in a production-manufacturing environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Aerospace Industry (Preferred)


    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    Knowledge:
    Knowledge of contracts terms and conditions.

    Demonstrated effective root cause analysis and problem solving, involving technically complex issues.


    Computer:
    Computer literate with working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, MS Power Point and MRP/ERP systems.

    Proficiency in MS Project is required.

    Language Skills

    Superior commination skills involving exchange via effective listening, written, oral, and presentation techniques.

    Facilitate consensus decision-making and cross-functional team support amongst operations, production, program management and technical personnel.

    Issues are proactively communicated to our customer.

    All customer inquiries are addressed in a timely manner.
