Requirements

Highschool Diploma or GED
Meet all ACR/MQSA requirements
ARRT (R)(M) certification with current registration or ARRT registry eligible and IEMA licensure
Current CPR certification issued by American Heart Association

Day-to-Day

An employer in the Elmhurst area is seeking a direct-hire Mammography Technologist. This position will be working for a large hospital in the Elmhurst area part of a much larger health system. This person will be operating radiology equipment to obtain routine radiographs used by physicians to detect and treat breast cancer. In doing so, they will be positioning patients, adjusting x-ray equipment to correct setting for each examination, and evaluates films quality. They also will be testing radiologic equipment and maintain quality assurance records, as well as perform related office duties when necessary. The shift time would be 12pm-8:30pm and every 4th Saturday 7am-4:30pm. No on call or Holidays required, and candidates will be eligible for a 10K sign-on bonus.
