Summary

About the Role and the Company:

This position involves working as a Technology Transfer Specialist within the Office of Policy & Analysis. Your responsibilities will include:

Drafting, negotiating, and reviewing research and development agreements under the Federal Technology Transfer Act of 1986.
Preparing reports, data analysis, and correspondence on technology transfer topics.
Developing training materials and presentations on technology transfer programs.
Sharing technology descriptions with industry groups and interested parties.

Must pass a background investigation.

Special Requirements for this Position:

Limited to the first 70 applications received.

Background investigation mandatory.

Qualifications:

Experience: Defined as one year of full-time work (minimum 35-40 hours per week). Part-time work credited proportionally.

Undergraduate Education: One year equals 30 semester hours or 45 quarter hours of full-time academic study.

Graduate Education: One year equals 18 semester hours or 27 quarter hours of graduate-level coursework.

For GS-09: Either specialized experience equivalent to GS-07 level, 2 years of related graduate education, or a combination of both.

For GS-11: Requires specialized experience at GS-09 level, 3 years of higher-level graduate education, or a mix of both.

For GS-12: Needs specialized experience at GS-11 level.

You must meet all qualification and eligibility requirements by the closing date of the announcement.

Education:

Experience, including volunteer work, will be considered in assessments.
