- Supervise the consolidation process for country-specific trial balances, income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements for Revenue Authority audits.
- Manage the implementation of the entity compliance and reporting as part of the F&A project.
- Supervise the contract closeout process, ensuring that, cash received, accrued revenue, and invoiced amounts are reconciled and confirmed prior to submitting a complete closeout package to USAID.
- Supervise the finalization of the contract fee.
- Supervise the calculation of the Negotiated Indirect Cost Rate Agreement (NICRA) indirect rate adjustments.
- Supervise the review and submission of quarterly SF-425s to USAID for Cooperative Agreements (COAGs),
- Supervise the COAG drawdowns in compliance with donor rules and regulations.
- Supervise COAG financial reporting process in Payment Management System and SAMS.

Summary of the Position
This position sits within the USG Finance function and is responsible for ensuring compliance and reporting for project statutory entities, project closeouts and cooperative agreement financial management.
In addition, this position will play a critical role on the F&A project supporting testing, training, and implementation.This is a highly visible and challenging role within the organization that will require the building of strong relationships and becoming a trusted advisor to achieve success.
The role requires the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines, extreme attention to detail, and consistently accurate, high quality financial analyses.
This position will close on Thursday, May 10th.Responsibilities
1.
Local entity statutory reporting and financial compliance
Cooperative Agreement reporting and compliance.
Support the testing, training, and implementation of the new Financial and Accounting system.
5.
Identity opportunities to improve and streamline areas of responsibility, ensure the maintenance of policy and process documentation, and ensure that any required training is provided.
Grade P9:
Minimum of 11 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance and a college degree. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Ability to work effectively within a team, supervise staff, directing priorities, and leading others to ensure business needs are met by technical solutions
Organized, self-motivated and possess a strong customer-service orientation.
Keen understanding of DAI challenges as it relates to technical issues faced by USG projects and workforce.
Creative thinker with the ability to resolve complex problems, while keeping an eye on the big picture.
Able to build and maintain excellent working relationships with staff at all levels of the organization and external clients from diverse backgrounds.
Experience with financial planning and/or budget management.Financial modelling skills and experience with data analytics drawing conclusions from data and translating information into relatable terms.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience with Oracle.
Master's degree in accounting, finance, or related business discipline
Strong knowledge of Excel, which should include use of formulas, pivot tables, and/or creating charts.
Experience with Power BI or similar tool
Prior experience working for a US Government contracting firm
Experience with Government contract accounting, audits, indirect rates and related compliance Knowledge of
Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS)
Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Supervisory Requirements
:
Will initially supervise - 4 direct reports
For employees working in the United States, the full-time equivalent annual base salary for this position is expected to be between $155,946 to $190,600.
Salary for part-time employees will be prorated based on actual hours worked.Actual offers will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, Grade level, qualifications, relevant education, experience, skills, seniority, performance, and business or organizational needs.
Eligible U.S.based employees, will be able to enroll in medical, dental and vision insurance, plus a 401(k)-retirement plan with a company match.
Additionally, employees will be eligible for company-paid annual leave (vacation & holidays), sick leave, parental leave; as well as short- and long-term disability coverage.
