Job Description

This role is responsible for executing and fulfilling the material requirements plan, updating ERP system with the latest supplier / product data and daily communication with suppliers. This person will work closely with each department to support the business.

Responsibilities

• Generate and consolidate material requirements and drawings from ERP system
• Communicate and follow up with suppliers relating to pricing, lead times, order acknowledgements, shipping dates, status updates, shipping documentation, and material certificates
• Promptly update ERP system with lead times
• Create and Issue Purchase Orders to approved suppliers
• Promptly execute and Respond to Part Availability inquiries
• Update In Transit Tracker Information
• Provide weekly status report to supervisor
• Create Receivers for all incoming parts
• Order MRO Supplies to support the business

Qualifications

• BS degree, preferred
• 1-3 years experience in an ISO 9001 environment
• Experience with ERP systems
• Strong understanding of bills of material (BOM) and drawings, preferred
