- Maintaining and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
- Identifying maintenance risks on equipment.
- Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC systems.
- Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems, and providing warranty services.
- Responding to emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
- Offering technical guidance and on-the-job training.
- Recording all maintenance activities in the dispatch software.
- Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
- Adhering to service standards, work instructions, and customer needs.
- Assisting customers with queries and offering repair or replacement options.
- Informing the Supervisor of any problematic calls or issues.
- Reporting faulty equipment and taking it out of service immediately.
- Maintaining a clean van, professional appearance, and wearing uniform shirts with a name during customer interactions.
- Experienced technicians have the opportunity to be retail salespersons in the field with provided training.
- Understanding advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating.
- Capable of lifting, pushing, or pulling equipment up to 70 pounds regularly.
- Maintaining a clean driver's license.
- Possessing an up-to-date EPA Type II or universal certification.
- Demonstrating excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in interpreting schematics and work plans.
- Availability for after-hours and weekend on-call rotations.
- Able to work in confined spaces.
