**Wage: Starting $19.20-$21.00**

**Job Opening:** Upholstery in the Rigging Department

**Reports To:** Supervisor of the Rigging Department

**Position Summary:**

As a member of the upholstery team member, you will be tasked with responsibilities that will include studding the boats, assembling top frames, sewing all required canvas per work order.

**Roles and Responsibilities:**

+ The upholstery team members will work with tools, materials, and equipment to build respective components while maintaining a high-quality standard.

+ Will contribute to all areas of the upholstery process.

+ Following all safety rules and regulations while working in the upholstery department.

+ Performs general housekeeping and maintenance.

+ Follow the department production schedule.

+ Required to measure and cut various types of materials.

+ May be required to perform other duties as needed.

**Required and Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Working knowledge of a variety of hand/power tools.

+ High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

+ Product design and fabrication experience preferred.

+ Ability to stand, bend, and stoop for 10+ hour shifts.

+ Ability to follow established quality guidelines and safety processes.

+ Self-starter, team player with a good safety awareness.

+ Must be able to lift to 50 lbs.

**Work Environment:**

Regularly required to work at heights on platforms, lifting parts and pieces up to 50 lbs, traveling up and down stairs on a constant basis, sitting, squatting and bending in various awkward positions for certain lengths of time - including working overhead, traveling in and out of work areas, walking and being on your feet for a majority of the workday. Exposed to noise, dust, fumes and odors daily. Physical exertion is required.
